Our MindaNews Cooperative will hold its General Assembly over the weekend. We have organized it together with the Trainers’ Training for our Grassroots Documentation and Reporting program. We decided to hold it in the city’s “Unconvention center” - Ponce Suites.
As part of the organizing team this means also our hell week.
We are expecting our reporters, columnists, and correspondents from around Mindanao to come so we are pressed in preparation.
Organizing is an important aspect in cooperatives. I learned a lot of lessons as a member of the organizing team. One is on having the eye for details that may spill over to the big stuff in the activity. Details, details, details. Its all about that apart from the vision.
