Fewer minor-age pregnancies in Mindanao in 2005

According to the results of the National Statistics Office there are fewer minor-age pregnancies in Mindanao in 2005. Fewer minor-age women got pregnant in 2005 in four out of six regions in Mindanao, results of the 2005 Family Planning Survey made public
this week show. There is also an increase in the use of modern contraceptive methods and a steady decrease on the use of traditional methods such as calendar or rhythm. Read more.
