Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Chair Leonor Tripon-Rosero, on national television, was seen being grilled by senators over its budget this year. But Rosero said there won’t be a need for millions of pesos budget for the re-take because they will not bat for a retake anymore. 

So can parents of the board passers relax a bit and just wait for the Court of Appeals to lift its  60-day  temporary restraining order (TRO) against the nurses’ oath-taking?  Hopefully, but does the PRC assure the nurses wouldn’t face discrimination just as they do with hospitals and other employers?

Well, with around 8,000 to 10,000 nurses leaving the country every year, do local employers of nurses have much choice?
