GRP-MILF talks: Unwanted but expected impasse

The negotiating panels of the Philippine government and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) ended another exploratory talks Thursday afternoon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia still with an impasse . 

They failed to resolved the issue on territorial scope.The impasse on the ancestral domain issue has not been broken. Read a story by MindaNews’ Carolyn O. Arguillas on the matter here.

Actually, nobody wanted an impasse on the talks. Who would want to? But everybody  expected it. What with the contentious territory strand on the acenstral domain.

Hopefully they could break the impasse very soon, that is, when they resume talking after the Ramadhan.
