The other kind of robbers

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” (Matthew 7:15).

The Biblical quote could describe government officials and employees in this report.  They were placed in positions of trust in governance to be stewards of the peoples’ resources. And yet they rob the people in this seemingly tolerable extent. Public thrust  is compromised for one’s personal advantage.

To those who made mistaking public for personal use as a habit – this could be a hard earned lesson. Those who erred by accident – this, too, could be a hard earned lesson.
