Ayala Center (in Davao?)

… is now a possibility, Davao City councilor Peter Laviña said. He said initials steps had been taken to start talks on a possible joint venture between the Floirendo family who owns a 10-hectare property in Bajada district, and the Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI).

The group intends to build a business park type of development in Davao patterned after their properties in Manila and Cebu, the Ayala Center chain.

Laviña said details are not yet available for now. He said the facility will include a convention center, which was considered as one of Davao’s weakpoints in the MICE industry.
