March on March

Today is March 1.

In 1888, a petition written my Marcelo del Pilar and signed by 810 Filipinos, demanded expulsion of the Spanish archbishop and friars, the secularization of benefices and confiscation of the Augustinian and Dominican estates.

In 1937, Davao City was officially and formally inaugurated as a “chartered city” of the Philippines.

What and who will make history today?
