PDEA runs random drug tests among high schoolers

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has announced it is conducting random drug testing in select national high schools here as part of the efforts of the Anti Drug Abuse Council of Davao City.

PDEA eyes starting the tests by third week of this month.

ADAC is a multi-agency council that campaigns against drug abuse. It includes the PDEA and the Department of Education.

SP02 Ma. Rosario Yambao- Suarez told MindaNews the test will be done in coordination with guidance counselors in the randomly selected schools.
